This application is being developed for the creator’s own product research. It is intended to help compare competing products while browsing Etsy.
It is not offered for public installation or paid access. API integration and sales estimation are planned features, not currently available services.
Planned API use
- Public listing titles, tags, prices, categories, and favorites.
- Public listing review counts and shop statistics.
- Keyword-based listing searches to compare relevant products.
Access will be limited to endpoints and uses approved by Etsy.
Estimates & limitations
Any sales or revenue estimates will be labeled as experimental, with their assumptions and limitations. They will not be presented as verified transactions.
Shop-wide sales will be distinguished from individual product sales. Listing tags and keyword suggestions will not be represented as actual buyer search terms or purchase attribution.
Privacy & data handling
This information page has no forms, analytics, advertising scripts, or application cookies. The hosting provider may process technical access logs needed to deliver the page.
The planned tool will not access other sellers’ private orders or buyer data, edit listings, send email, or scrape Etsy pages. API credentials will be kept outside the distributed extension. Data retention will follow Etsy’s applicable API requirements.
